State parks are always a great place to go out and enjoy. By their very nature, they are designed to preserve amazing places in our state to enjoy for years to come. Sure we all have our favorite place to visit, but have you ever been to Tennessee’s largest state park? Not only is Falls Creek Falls Tennessee’s biggest state park, but it is also home to the tallest waterfall in our lovely state. This park is massive, and well-worth a multi-day adventure.
Falls Creek Falls is the waterfall from which the park gets its name.
At 256 feet tall, this waterfall is the biggest in the eastern side of our country, let alone the biggest waterfall in our state. A visit to this state park is not complete without taking in the splendor of this magnificent waterfall.
Falls Creek Falls gets all the attention when it comes to waterfalls but this state park actually has six waterfalls that are gorgeous to see.
Beautiful overlooks and interesting finds are waiting just around the corner. Suspension bridges and other cool points of interest can be found all along the robust trail system.
Whatever outdoor activity you like you can find it in this huge State Park. Hiking, rock climbing, biking, boating, and fishing, are all activities that are welcomed at Falls Creek Falls, just to name a few.
