The experience is only a tender couple of years old, but it has already made a mark on the community for its fully immersive and family-friendly celebration of local honey. The Tennessee Honey Festival is a traveling festival that makes the rounds on an annual basis, and it's meant to function as an experience that celebrates local honey with the immediate community. This year the Tennessee Honey Festival will take place in Nashville's Bicentennial Mall State Park.
The Tennessee Honey Festival was founded in 2017 and has since become one of the most unique experiences in the United States. The festival is meant to help educate visitors on Tennessee's pollinators and honey bees and has become a must-visit for families and young folks alike.
Every year more than 10,000 attendees visit the Tennessee Honey Festival as well as more than 100 vendors. There are interactive bee-keeping exhibits, educational classes, and even a mobile interactive Bee-Yard.
This drink? It's called "The Pollinator," and the fresh take on limeade utilizes honey to add a little texture and sweetness to the sparkling beverage. It, as well as other specialty drinks, will be available on-site.
