Tennessee is known for serving up delicious cuisine, and it’s not just Southern fare that has put the Volunteer State on the map. The High Rail is located in the heart of Chattanooga, and you can find it right in the Chattanoogan Hotel. Owned and operated by Hilton Dining, you can be sure that this local spot is bound to provide an incredible atmosphere, regionally inspired fare, and plenty of communal seating for you and your friends.
The High Rail is both an indoor and outdoor eatery that boasts a communal rooftop space and stunning views of Chattanooga. You can find it in The Chattanoogan, a historically stunning hotel found right in the heart of Chattanooga's downtown.
The rooftop space is perhaps one of the most popular aspects of the eatery, especially if you're looking for a low-key space with high-caliber views that will fit you and all your friends for a few hours. Reservations are currently taken for both indoor and outdoor seating.
As beautiful as the rooftop is, we can't get over the interior! The design of the space as well as the placement and choice of furniture only ups the ante on your dinnertime experience. High Rail also offers Sunday brunch, which is great for adding a little fun to the end of the weekend.
Curious about what's on the menu? You'll find everything from spinach artichoke dip and hot pimento cheese as appetizers to smoked brisket tacos and a classic smash burger served with two all-beef patties.
The blackened shrimp tacos are decadent, and a platter of chips and queso can heal any hard day. Make sure you top off your dining experience with something sweet like a hot brownie s'more for fire-baked bread pudding.
Signature cocktails like a Southern Belle, a fresh twist on a French 75, and a pineapple basil mojito will keep your rooftop cocktail game on-point. Make sure you snag an appetizer to pair with your old-fashioned, too!
You can currently visit High Rail from 5 to 9 p.m. from Tuesday to Thursday, from 4 to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for Sunday brunch.
