No matter the time of year, the workweek, or the plans you have coming up, everyone needs a break every once in a while. Every Friday night is welcomed, and every Saturday morning dawns with a whole heap of potential. In Tennessee, HiFi Clyde’s, a honky-tonk joint and eatery located in both Nashville and Chattanooga, is the place to be on the weekend. Or Monday or Wednesday or any day, really. If you’re in need of a break, this colorful space just might be the place that helps melt the stress of the workweek far, far away.
HiFi Clyde's has two locations in Tennessee, with one in Nashville and the other sitting pretty in Chattanooga. It's a honky-tonk that's inspired by neon lights and live music, with an expansive food and drink menu to boot.
The atmosphere definitely has more of a sports bar feel, with scattered game tables and televisions throughout the space. Most folks come for the live music, though, and each scheduled event can be found online.
Airy and industrial yet comfortably cozy, HiFi Clyde's has something for everyone. If you're looking for a plate of barbecue, you're covered. Ping pong? Get competitive! The bar? Perfectly stocked.
The menu runs the Southern gamut, from a fried shrimp dinner plate that's inspired by the Gulf Coast to buttermilk fried chicken that tastes almost like grandma made it.
Lunch time is perfectly balanced by cheeseburgers and BLTs. If you're looking for a taste of New Orleans, the fully dressed fried shrimp po' boy will send you straight to the Big Easy.
There's a solid offering of salads as well, if you're looking to add a bit of crunch to your honky-tonk experience. Owned by the same restaurant group as local favorites Milk & Honey, Taco Mamacita and Community Pie, HiFi Clyde's knows how to provide a fun experience for Tennesseans and tourists alike.
You can visit HiFi Clyde's from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. from Monday to Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Sundays.
