Located just a block from the Mississippi River, The Gray Canary combines classic American fare with a unique, international twist, serving up seafood favorites and southern-honed eats in a beautiful Memphis location. This downtown eatery is high-class and well worth the investment!
Finding an incredible place to eat in the heart of Tennessee doesn't seem to be too difficult, but marrying a memorable space AND delicious food? It's much harder. The Gray Canary is a Memphis gem, located just a block from the Mississippi River on Front Street.
The massive windows provide a lovely view of the city's landscape. It's located in the Old Dominick Distillery, a beautiful space found in the Memphis South Main Arts District.
The menu is both vibrant and varied, boasting everything from a raw bar to delicious takes on classic Americana. Indulge in oysters or sashimi, or perhaps play it safe and stick to the TGC burger. It's served on a brioche bun with onion and bacon sofrito with American cheese and pickled lettuce. Fries are served on the side!
Of course, it's the seafood fare that really shines at the Gray Canary. Mussels and trout and tuna grace the menu, and platters of lobster and snapper make a decadent entree appearance as well.
