Tennessee is definitely one of the most beautiful places to experience the heart of fall, but it’s in East Tennessee that you’ll see the most incredible foliage in the state. The entire Great Smoky Mountains National Park lights up in shades of orange, yellow and red, engulfing the entire span of the mountains and foothills in stunning, shimmering color. There’s only one way to make the experience better: a bit of adrenaline.
Ah, Gatlinburg. Beautiful all year round, but especially stunning during the months of October and November. It's when the scenery really shows out, making a trip to the Gatlinburg Mountain Coaster of the essence.
The wooden coaster makes its way through the fall foliage of the forest, rambling along the hillsides and cutting its way quickly through stunning swaths of countryside.
