The city of Franklin, Tennessee has long been considered one of the sweetest small towns in the United States, recognized across the nation for its darling downtown and tight-knit community. Here in the south though, it’s the holidays that truly make our tiny towns shine. With lots of Christmas decorations and a massive tree, of course! We have all the details on the Franklin Christmas Tree Lighting of 2018, an event you definitely don’t want to miss.
Oh, sweet Franklin, Tennessee. Home to one of the prettiest Main Streets in the city and picture-perfect when it comes to experiencing the heart of Middle Tennessee. If you've ever bundled up and wandered the city's historic downtown, complete with the darling Franklin Theater, then you know exactly how picture-perfect this sweet place can be.
The city of Franklin will be lighting the downtown square on Friday, November 30th, 2018. The community will be serenaded by the Freedom Intermediate School Honors Choir as well as the Centennial High School Choir.
The mayor himself, Ken Moore, will be leading the countdown. We'd recommend you bundle up, since the event will run from 6:00pm to 8:30pm, and Tennessee tends to get a bit chilly this time of year.
