If you’re looking for a classic restaurant in the heart of Tennessee that makes you feel like family as soon as you walk in the door, then look no further than the small town of Henry. The Family Table was established by locals in rural Tennessee and it has become a local watering hole and destination perfect for families of all shapes and sizes. With a menu that runs that gamut and spans the day, there’s a little something for everyone at The Family Table.
You can see from the exterior that the Family Table is a humble, hidden gem of a place that hides an incredible experience behind its kelly green walls.
Open for lunch or dinner, inside you'll find kind, hospitable folks that are knowledgable about the full menu. It's a great place to bring the family, or to come and simply spend an afternoon when the day gets quiet.
The Family Table utilizes the freshest ingredients available to make up multiple culinary delights and dishes. Reservations are currently required for Thursday to Saturday seatings, though walk-ins are taken when possible.
Then, of course, there's the steak. This filet mignon is inspired by Italy and is served with fried crushed golden potatoes, marinated shrimp, flame-roasted pepper, a garlic grilled head of romaine, AND shaved Reggiano parmesan. Delicious!
Of course, there are plenty of other indulgences on the menu, like this Maryland Crabmeat Stuffed Artichoke with Tomato Basil Butter Cream. Would you call that an appetizer or an entree? It's honestly up to you. No judgment here, folks!
The Family Table is a gathering place for folks of all ages, and it's proven itself to be a diamond in the rural rough. Locals rave about the quality of the food and service, so you can be sure excellence is key.
