Dollywood Parks and Resort is an amusement park located in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, and is known for its co-owner and inspiration, Dolly Parton. This mountainous oasis is outfitted with everything from live shows to country coasters and its own waterpark.
Dollywood's "Smoky Mountain Christmas" experience is a fantastic tradition that comes around every year to regale the folks of Tennessee. The park is decked out in over 5 million gorgeous lights, and this year fireworks will light the sky.
As you walk through the park you'll find that every building is illuminated with light. The entire park glows, warming the heart of every visitor. Keep your eye out for arctic blue light displays speckled throughout the classic red and green.
Every Friday and Saturday, weather permitting, Dollywood Parks and Resort will set off the "Merry and Bright" fireworks show set to Christmas music. You'll be able to view the display throughout the park, so you can find your favorite spot and prepare to be regaled with beauty.
Don't miss the daily holiday shows! Guest favorites include, "Christmas in the Smokies," "Kingdom Heirs Christmas," and this year you can catch the "Heart of the Holidays" show in the DreamSong Theatre.
A visit to Dollywood is always fun, but a Smoky Mountain Christmas is a truly uplifting experience. You can experience Dollywood for the holidays until January 3rd, 2021.
