When you want to take a nice stroll through nature, then nothing quite beats a pleasant pond or a lake. The experience is even better when you have the whole place to yourself. We found a little-known lake trail in Fairview, Tennessee, that will give you beautiful scenery, peace, and quiet.
The Lakes of Bowie loop trail is a 2.6-mile loop with only 144 feet of elevation gain.
So this trip will be nice and level for the most part and allow a peaceful stroll around several lakes. Take some time to sit and watch the reflection of the trees in the cool calm waters, or watch the sun shimmer over the surface, creating a shining display of sparkles.
