When you first spot the Davis General Store from the road, you might think you somehow entered a time warp and rocketed back in time. The American and Tennessee flags out front, the old school gas pumps, and yes, sometimes even classic cars adorn the exterior.

The 92-year-old country store has served the greater Franklin area for almost an entire century. It's a great place to stop for something to eat, or to shoot the breeze with the friendly owners and staff.

The Davis General Store was built in 1928 and was serviced by the Davis family from 1960 to 2018. It was in early 2018 that the Gielda family took over and restored the traditional space, providing their own unique take on a local classic.
