When it comes to Tennessee BBQ, some folks think they have it all figured out. They have their favorite local eatery, where they meet their best friends and nosh on their favorite plates of brisket, and that seems to be enough. The thing is? One spot is never enough. Cozy Corner Restaurant is a true Memphis legend, having served the local community since the 1970s. It may not look like much, but oh, how your taste buds will thank you.

The Cozy Corner Restaurant opened in Memphis in 1977 and has been serving patrons ever since. Known for their expansive hospitality and delicious fare, this hole-in-the-wall eatery should be at the top of your Memphis restaurant bucket list.

The interior is no-fuss and easy, making it a great restaurant for families and singles alike. You can indulge in your own whole and barbecued Cornish hen, or perhaps share a platter of BBQ nachos.

As you can see, locals keep Cozy Corner FAR from closing its doors. This tiny shop stays busy slinging ribs, wings and smoked meats with decadent sides six days a week.

You can snag a side order or BBQ spaghetti (!!!), fries, chips, coleslaw or bbq beans either with your platter or even a la carte. Some folks can't get enough AT the Cozy Corner, so they choose to hire the locally owned restaurant for their catering needs.

The prices are fair and the servings are large, and especially when paired with a unique atmosphere and southern hospitality this hot spot really can't be beat.
