3. Harrisburg Covered Bridge

The next stop on the covered bridge trail is the Harrisburg Covered Bridge, which was built in 1875 by Elbert Stephenson Early. It's 83 feet long and solid as a horse. 4. David Crockett State Park Covered Bridge

This darling TN covered bridge is located in David Crockett State Park, a protected area in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The historic hero once had a mill on the property, although every original structure was washed away in a late '90s flood - except for the bridge. This one is made to stay. 5. Port Royal State Park Covered Bridge

Lake Trail: Locate within the 1,367-acre Radnor Lake State Park in Nashville, this 2.5-mile loop goes around the entire lake, affording some great views.

Virgin Falls Trail: If you want to see the 110-foot-tall Virgin Falls in Pleasant Hill, take this seven-mile trail. It is half downhill to the Caney Fork River and then up, with a 1,400-foot elevation gain.
