Tennessee has a rugged topography on the eastern side of the state, one that boasts as many valleys and craggy mountains as it does lush creekbeds and loamy meadows. Of course, you can best view the eastern state in all its glory from the sky, and CLIMB Works Smoky Mountains comes highly recommended. The outdoor adventure park has a series of zipline experiences and suspension bridges that will take you high above nature’s floor and up into the sky where a streak of adrenaline will keep your eyes wide with wonder as you take in the beauty.
CLIMB Works Smoky Mountains is located in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, and is known both for its world-class zipline tours and as a family-friendly adventure spot.
The view from the course is, to say the least, absolutely stunning. You'll have a prime-time view of some of the most beautiful mountains and valleys in Tennessee. The folks at CLIMB Works have made it their mission to help people leave their comfort zones and explore new experiences safely.
CLIMB Works has one of the longest zip lines in the state of Tennessee, and the quality, practical design of the park has made it a top choice for adventurers. It's been so popular, in fact, that CLIMB Works opened a second location on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii.
There are two different zipline tours you can take during your visit: either the Treetop or Mountaintop tour. The Treetop tour is fairly easy, with nine total zip lines and single riders supported by the experience. There's 5,100 feet of total zipping distance, and it will take between 2 and 2.5 hours to complete.
The Mountaintop tour supports side-by-side riders on six zip lines total and is considered easy to moderate. It should take roughly two hours to complete, with 5,900 feet of total zipping distance.
Have you been to CLIMB Works in East Tennessee? You can visit from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. from Monday to Saturday. The experience is closed on Sundays.
What a neat adventure! There’s really something for everyone of all ages, and we’d recommend checking out more about CLIMB Works with a visit to its official website or Facebook page.
