If you’ve lived in Tennessee for any length of time, then you know that this gorgeous state is chock full of beautiful drives and stunning vistas. It’s here in the Volunteer State that you’ll find the majesty of the Mississippi and the craggy beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains, where you’ll stumble across rolling hills and stunning stretch of the Cumberland Plateau. This 23-mile drive is located on the eastern side of the state, and it’s one of our favorites. Have you been on the Cherohala Skyway yet?

The drive down Tennessee's Cherohala Skyway is consistently ranked as one of the best scenic drives in the state, some say even in the country.

You can make a loop beginning and ending in Tellico Plains, Tennessee, that runs twenty-three miles through Tennessee's craggy heartland to the east.
