As local travel experts, we know what travelers are looking for when it comes to finding the perfect accommodations for their next trip. Jackson, Tennessee is best known as a small college town that exudes a quiet, sweet southern charm. It’s where kids grow into adults, where homes are bought by young married couples and church pews are filled with folks from all generations. It’s a down-home place, a calm place, the kind of town you want to grow up in or grow old in or simply never leave. You can celebrate all of life’s ups and downs at the Chandelier restaurant, a gorgeous eatery that ups that ante on this otherwise low-key Tennessee town.
Chandelier is located in the historic local Neely House that originally housed the Murphy Hotel in the early 20th century. It's where you visit for a step back in time, where you plan a romantic dinner out or celebrate a new season with the ones you love.
Touted as a local fine dining location, the eclectic take on classic southern dishes makes for a fun, if considerably classic, experience for the palate.
OpenTable awarded Chandelier a 2018 Diners' Choice Award, and if you crawl the restaurant's TripAdvisor and Yelp ratings you'll find spades of 5-stars. Considered one of the nicest spots to eat in Jackson, Chandelier has given the darling small town an infusion of upscale dining.
If you head over for brunch we would personally recommend the biscuits with honey butter to start or perhaps the blackberry shortcake if you're looking to sate a sweet tooth. The crabcake benedict is also lovely, bound to transport you from landlocked Tennessee to Martha's Vineyard in a single bite.
If you're looking to indulge sometime soon, make sure to make a reservation online! Walk-ins are lovely, but if you want to make sure you have a table for all your family and friends without a long wait, letting Chandelier ahead of time is the best way to go.
You can visit for yourself at 575 S Royal Street in Jackson, Tennessee, from 5:30pm until 9pm Wednesday through Saturday, and on Sundays from 11am to 2pm and 5:30pm to 9pm. The bar is open until 10pm during the week, and the restaurant closes on Mondays and Tuesdays. Happy indulging!
If you happen to be on the eastern side of the state, a rustic eatery may be right up your alley.
