If you’re ever on the east side of the state, a visit to The Captain’s Table just off of the famed Watauga Lake makes for one of the prettiest meals in Tennessee. Come for a visit, fall in love. It’s as easy as that.
Captain's Table is located in Hampton, Tennessee, and offers up a breathtaking view of Watauga Lake alongside its family-friendly atmosphere and daily seafood specials.
The restaurant specializes mainly in seafood platters, but can serve up a mean steak as well as freshly fried oysters. Even better, you can dock your boat right outside while you eat. No car necessary!

A view like this goes a long way for the soul, friends. The Captain's Table is open March through November, which means clear skies and full bellies are ahead.
