Here in Tennessee, we know a thing or two about barbecue. The art of smoked meats, mouthwatering sides, and gathering ’round the table is something we’ve perfected in the Volunteer State. For proof of this, look no further than Bones BBQ Joint in Gatlinburg. This family-operated establishment will impress you with its menu and charm you with its fine Tennessee hospitality. Whether you’re visiting for the first time or happen to live nearby, you’ll feel like family every time you dine at Bones BBQ Joint.
Welcome to Bones BBQ Joint! Since 2013, this lovable smokehouse has been delighting residents and visitors alike.
The restaurant was originally started by Jim Ogle, an 8th-generation resident of Gatlinburg who passed the business down to his niece's husband. Chef Alex Davis grew up in Kansas City, perfecting the art of barbecuing before settling into the Gatlinburg region with his wife and new daughter.
The moment you step inside, you'll find yourself surrounded by a homey, welcoming atmosphere infused with the irresistible scent of smoked meats and Southern cooking.
Bones BBQ Joint is also invested in the community. In fact, they were recently mentioned in Southern Living Magazine for their generous donation to God's Pantry Food Kitchen.
So what can you expect from the menu? Well, a little bit of everything.
Looking for more of a variety? There are larger platters available with brisket, ribs, pulled chicken, and more. Or, you can feed the whole group with a variety of Pitmaster Combos, which serve up to 4.
Of course, it wouldn't be authentic Tennessee barbecue without a variety of delicious sauces to choose from. Find your favorite combination and you'll be in barbecue heaven.
