When autumn arrives, folks in Tennessee have to take hold of it quick! The season tends to be one of the shortest, tucked in there between a humid summer and the chill of southern wintertime. Enjoy all the season has to offer with a visit to the Apple Barn in Tennessee, where folks serve up apple cider donuts you won’t want to miss. Grab your scarf and a pumpkin spice latte for the road, folks. It’s about to get real autumnal, courtesy of the Apple Barn.
The Apple Barn is located in the heart of Sevierville, Tennessee. The popular complex is made up of a shop, restaurant, and a variety of stores surrounding the Apple Barn cider mill and winery.
It's located in the beautiful, rolling hills of Sevierville, which is a top spot for locals and tourists on the eastern side of the state. Doesn't this look like the most pastoral view? There are plenty of spots for family photos too!
There's a general store on the property that once operated as a barn when the Apple Barn was initially constructed in 1910. In the 1980s it was revamped as a general store where you can now purchase everything from home decor to apple-themed gifts.
A cider mill was eventually added onto the property, but you'll also find an Apple Pie Kitchen and Candy Factory hidden within the original Apple Barn. Don't skimp out on the homemade sweets and historic processes found in the space! There's so much to taste and learn.
Of course, it's those apple cider donuts that really keep people coming back for more! Made fresh every day, they're truly an indulgent experience. If you're not looking for donuts (who isn't?!) you can choose from a menu of fried apple pies and apple dumplings instead.
Delicious! Head to the Apple Barn Winery or Creamery if you're looking for an indulgence of a different kind. Homemade ice cream is made on-site, and there's something fantastic about bringing home a bottle of Tennessee-made wine. You can remember your experience at the Apple Barn from the comfort of your own home.
The Apple Barn is open all year long in the heart of Sevierville, Tennessee, and it remains one of the best spots for folks to frequent when the hankering for autumn flavors kicks in. Visit for yourself from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day of the week except for Sunday, when The Apple Barn closes at 5:30 p.m.
