Although Aquarium, an eatery located in the Opry Mills Mall may seem to be one of the most quirky restaurants in the area, it's also one of the most fun - no matter how old or young you are.
You'll make your way down a tunnel of underwater wildlife on your way to the dining room. The magical interior only gets better as you traverse the underwater wonderland.

You'll be eating in a dining room that is surrounded by a 200,000 gallon fish tank. There are both saltwater and freshwater areas, full of ethically sourced exotic fish on display.

Kids have a great time pointing out little Nemo's and Dory's, and perhaps the spare eel or two that floats through the restaurant like an eerie wraith. There are roughly 100 different species of live fish that make their home here in this Tennessee restaurant.

Fish are fed twice a day by professional divers and there are even mermaid experiences where tickets can be bought ahead of time to snag a spot. If you're curious, the restaurant also offers behind-the-scenes tours of the aquarium upkeep as well.
There are views of the aquarium from every table, so there's no need to worry about getting a good spot. The entire restaurant is surrounded, making for a fun and fishy experience whether you're on one side of the restaurant another. There's also a restaurant calendar on their official website so you can stay up to date on birthday packages and group specials.
We'd recommend checking out the "Marine Biologist for a Day" experience, one that's both fun and educational for kids. And who knows? A few adults may walk away with a trivia fact or two as well.
