Tucked Away In A Southern California Forest, Top Of The Notch Is A Rustic Restaurant With Unforgettable Food
Located in the San Gabriel Mountains, the Angeles Forest spans 700,176 acres from Santa Clarita to Mount Baldy. Although you’ll feel like you’re lightyears away from city life, it’s actually a pretty short drive from the Los Angeles area. The forest is full of recreational opportunities, some of which are bound to make you hungry. And if it’s breakfast or lunchtime, head up — way up — to Top of the Notch in Mt. Baldy.

To reach it, you'll take a 15-minute ride on the Sugar Pine Chair Lift #1. You can also hike 3.5 miles up a service road, but the lift is a much more enjoyable route.

We can't say we blame them, as this is truly a unique dining experience.
