Southern California Railway Museum is a local gem that offers a rare look at more than 200 different historic train cars that date back to the 1800s.

When you arrive, be prepared to be impressed. With the largest collection of vintage railway trains and streetcars on the west coast, you'll be treated to a unique variety of locomotives that you most likely have never seen before.

Unlike most museums, you can do way more than just look at the precious items on display at Southern California Railway Museum. You can actually step inside and tour the trains.

Better yet, you can even take a ride on them!

When you hop aboard and take a ride on the rails at Southern California Railway Museum, the experience is different every time.

That's because they rotate the featured trains so you always have an opportunity to experience something new and exciting.

This fun experience is available most every weekend from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Ticket prices are currently $12 for adults and $8 for children under 11. Kids 5 and under are free.

Throughout the year, Southern California Railway Museum also offers a variety of unique and entertaining seasonal rides. A SoCal family favorite is taking a ride on the Thomas Train. It's definitely good old-fashioned fun.
