If your idea of a winter walk is one that includes soaring ocean views, sand in your toes, and plenty of blue skies for miles and miles, you'll be glad to discover this delightful trail in SoCal.
Perfect for those lazy days when you need some fresh air but don't feel like breaking much of a sweat, the Salt Creek Trail is nice and flat and easy to navigate for most everyone.
Although the entire trail is approximately 8 miles, you can make the hike as long or as short as you like by selecting where you'd like to turn around and head back.
You'll even have a chance to get some sand in your toes as the trail will take you right along the beach. It's a great spot to embrace all that SoCal has to offer.
It may be December already, but you won't have to bundle up on this hike. Just throw on some tennis shoes and a light jacket and enjoy that SoCal breeze.
