La Jolla Beach Trail is the place to go if you’re looking for a kid-friendly outdoor adventure. They’ll get to see the harbor seals in action up close when they explore the beautiful beach area. It’s only open from May 16th through December 14th annually in order to allow the seals their pupping season, so summer and fall are the perfect times to take this unique beach hike in Southern California.
