When you're ready for the perfect Southern California staycation, head to the San Diego Metro KOA. This beautiful camping village will make you feel right at home...if "home" includes every kind of entertainment and amenity you could want.
Rustic cabins have a full-sized bed and a bunkbed. They're not equipped with kitchens or bathrooms. Deluxe cabins are downright luxurious, with queen-sized beds, full-sized futons, bunk beds, kitchens, and full baths.
If you'd like to try glamping, setting into the glamping tent village. These pretty tents are a step up from the tent in your car's trunk, and they feature real beds so you can get a good night's sleep.
No matter where you lay your head at night, San Diego Metro KOA has the right site for you. This campground is huge - like a small town. But luckily, it has the feel of a small town, too. The Bell family owns and operates it, and has been doing so since 1968.
The kids will find not one, but two jumping pillows here. There's one for big kids, and a separate one for little kids, for a total of 3,500 square feet of fun!
Other recreation amenities include a basketball court, ping pong table, laser tag, Surf Shack Shootout, game room, and horseshoes.
Camping doesn't necessarily have to mean cooking on a camp stove. When you're ready for a snack (or a full meal), head on over to the Sand Castle Cafe.
This KOA books up in the summer, so if you want to stay, make your reservations soon.
