Plus, the restaurant’s menu is diverse with classic American, Mexican, and Greek cuisine. Take a look at this rockin’ spot in Oceano:
Hiding along the highway in the coastal town of Oceano is a classic American diner with a lot of character. Located inside an old train car, this restaurant is just as unique inside as it is on the outside.
Walking inside, you'll find the Rock and Roll Diner is filled with '50s nostalgia and antique memorabilia. The train car has been completely transformed into a giant time capsule of retro nostalgia!
Opened in 1998, the Rock and Roll Diner started out with a simple menu of burgers and BBQ entrees. However, it's quickly expanded to include recipes from the owner's Greek heritage. Some Greek favorites include Mousaka, Chicken Souvlaki, Gyros, and the (not-so-Greek) Lasagna.
In addition to their full daily menu, the restaurant offers daily specials like Mexican Night, Italian Night, and Fish Night. Sunday Night's "Smokey's Night" is a favorite for the baby back ribs, chili, bread, and rice!
Of course, you can't go wrong with a classic burger. They offer over a dozen types of burgers and just as many sandwiches! Simply put, there's something here for everyone and every appetite.
There's no combination quite like nostalgia and delicious food. Both young and old alike are likely to be charmed by this unique dining spot. Grab a cocktail or one of their famous milkshakes, sit back, and enjoy tunes from the '50s and '60s.
Rock and Roll Diner is open Sunday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Check out the restaurant's full menu and learn more here .
