There's no question that Coronado is a memorable spot to visit. But what people often overlook is the thrill of taking a ferry ride across the bay. Rather than hopping in the car and heading to Coronado, wow your guests and opt for a ferry ride instead.

Make sure to savor a stroll through the historic district and stop for a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants along the way. One of my favorite breakfast spots is The Filling Station. Not only is the food amazing, but it's housed in an old gas station which adds to its charm.
