Love discovering Southern California’s best hikes? If so, here’s a new one to add to your list that we are pretty sure you’ll love: a hiking trail that will lead you through a forest of oak trees. Pure bliss! Here’s a look at what you’ll find along this splendid trail in SoCal that will leave you feeling refreshed.
Located inside Daley Ranch, you'll find a dreamy trail lined with an abundance of oak trees that's so beautiful we think it looks like it's right out of a storybook.
Rated as moderate, this 7-mile trail is a fun loop that will take you through a variety of scenery in a setting that is filled with nothing but peace and quiet.
When you first head out on the trail, you may start wondering where all those oak trees are that we've been raving about. Be patient, as they are right around the corner.
Before you know it, you'll be surrounded by the most beautiful canopy of oak trees. As the sun peeks through the branches you'll want to stop and enjoy the setting.
You'll also notice just how green it is out here. Due to the heavy rainy season we've had this year, you'll find a lot of greenery along the trail that is bursting with life.
Even if you show up during the peak of the afternoon sun, you'll still stay nice and cool along this section of the trail from the abundance of shade from the trees.
But don't let all that shade fool you, as there are plenty of stretches along the trail where you'll be exposed to the full sun. Make sure to plan accordingly and pack plenty of water, sunscreen, and a hat just to stay on the safe side.
