At the end of the building's covered porch, you will find the entrance to Cafe on 27. Almost the entire restaurant is actually outside of the building.

Near the entrance is the kitchen, beverage counter, and a couple of tables in the greenhouse-like main level of the cafe.

The restaurant is made up of a series of shaded patio terraces, connected by wooden and tiled stairways, down the edge of the lush foliage-covered canyon.

Cafe on 27 is open for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. I ordered the brioche French Toast, served with fresh mixed berries and real maple syrup. It was brunch perfection. The Patatas Bravas (the cafe's version of home fries) are also wonderful - crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and served with a delicious sweet-spicy aioli.

If you are in a more savory mood, the Citrus Salmon with lemon butter sauce or the Braised Short Rib, both served over garlic mashed potatoes and veggies, are hard to beat.

The restaurant has a variety of unique beverages on the menu that are worth ordering, from the refreshing Tropical and Raspberry Lavender lemonades to the warm and spicy Chai Latte or Moroccan Mocha.
If you still have room, you will find several unique desserts on the menu, including house-made ice creams, flourless chocolate cake, mango cake, and more.

From the natural wood plank tables to the bar-style seating along the front of each terrace, you can hardly find a more gorgeous and relaxed setting for a meal than dining here among the treetops.
