There is just nothing like a day at the beach, especially along our scenic California coast. Some of the most beautiful and least-crowded beaches in Southern California are in Ventura County between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara. Despite living over an hour away when I was younger, and having much closer and more popular choices, these Gold Coast beaches were my favorite, and still are. There is really never a bad time for tacos, especially when they are these incredibly delicious breakfast tacos, which I highly recommend.

These tacos are stuffed with chorizo, bell pepper, cheese, eggs, avocado, cilantro, and an aioli drizzle that takes them over the top. They deserve a chef’s kiss!
If you are feeling more like a hearty lunch than breakfast, order one of the cafe’s signature sandwiches or juicy burgers. I love that you don’t have to pay extra to choose onion rings instead of French fries.
