8 Habits Every Southern Californian Has That Set Us Apart From The Rest Of The Country
Whether you’ve lived in Southern California your whole life or you are new to this part of the country, you’ll want to keep reading to see if you can relate to any of these habits. Whether it’s taste-testing for the best fish tacos, seeking out the most magnificent sunsets, or bragging about SoCal’s epic Mexican food, there are a few habits you may recognize on this list. Are you guilty of any of these?

SoCal is known for its stunning sunsets, which explains why you'll often see us heading out shortly before the sun goes down to seek out the most magnificent place in town to catch a picture-perfect sunset.

When it comes to amazing Mexican food, SoCal is always at the top of the list. That's why you'll often hear us bragging about it. We simply can't help ourselves, because we know it really is that good.

You can always spot a true Southern Californian toting around a pair of flip flops. Not just for the beach, you'll also see us wearing these anywhere shoes are required.

Perhaps we just love a good excuse to eat more fish tacos, but here in SoCal, the quest for the tastiest taco is real. Whether it's from a local food truck or walk-up taco shop, we will always check out a new place to see if it has a good fish taco.

Or at least on top of our burgers, eggs, and toast. Okay...and every other food item.

Although we do visit the grocery store here in SoCal, we love to support our local farmers by picking up most of our fresh produce, milk, eggs, and even bread at the local farmers market.

Even though we know it rains in SoCal (and yes, we even get snow!) we are still surprised when the weather gets chilly and the rain starts to come down. This may explain why many people stay home and avoid driving when there's rain on the ground. Or rain drizzling off the roof!

From January through December, you'll find Southern Californians grabbing a table outside or even at the park for a meal al fresco style. When it's blue skies almost every day of the year, there's really nowhere else we'd rather dine than outside in the fresh air.
What do you think of this list of the many habits Southern Californians have? Do you agree with any of these? Or perhaps you agree with all of them! What else would you add to this list? We’d love to know!
