Do you remember the good old days of jukeboxes, ice cream sodas, and walk-up restaurants? So do we! Sadly, this nostalgic time is nearly a thing of the past, as many of the establishments that serve all of the above have come and gone, which is why we are even more thankful for vintage and delicious restaurants like the B&G Milkyway in South Dakota:
Located throughout Sioux Falls, Brandon, and Tea, B&G Milkyway is a nostalgic South Dakota favorite... and for a good reason!
First opened in 1954, the original B&G Milkway was the epitome of the 1950s, as it offered both walk-up and drive-in service as well as made-to-order food that is as timeless as can be.
Thanks to the first location's popularity, B&G continued to grow and expand, adding more than a half-dozen more locations over the next several decades, each adorned in the same trademark red and white sign.
When you visit today, you will be treated to the same downhome service that regulars have come to expect of the restaurant, as well as a mouthwatering assortment of burgers and hot dogs, sandwiches, and nachos.
The original B&G Milkyway on 12th Street in Sioux Falls is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
