South Dakota’s weird and wacky attractions are spread throughout the state. We’ve got a huge drugstore that features 5 cent coffee and free water, a petrified wood park, and even a corn palace. The next time you’re in Mitchell to visit the Corn Palace, you might want to check out another unique attraction – Valtiroty Shiloh’s Tabernacle. It’s located at 615 N. Main Street.
Valtiroty Shiloh's Tabernacle looks like a medieval castle, but it's actually a weird, wacky museum of sorts. The owners call it a spiritual, educational and recreational park.
As you wander through the displays, you'll learn more about many of the Bible stories you might already know, and you'll probably learn new things, as well.
The next time you stop in Mitchell to visit the Corn Palace, pop across the street and check out Valtiroty Shiloh's Tabernacle. It's a wacky, wonderful place that's well worth a visit.
Stop by six days a week, from Sunday through Friday 8 AM to 8 PM. It's closed on Saturday.
Learn more about Valtiroty Shiloh’s Tabernacle by visiting its website. Have you ever visited? We’d love to hear what you thought of this unique place!
