Where is Rush Mountain Adventure Park in South Dakota?
Rush Mountain Adventure Park is located in Keystone, South Dakota. Keystone is located in southwestern South Dakota, and it’s a truly beautiful place! Rush Mountain Adventure Park is a thrill all its own, featuring a zipline adventure, a roller coaster (and other rides), a challenge course, and so much more. It’s wonderful for the whole family or, if you feel like treating yourself, a solo trip. At the time of this writing, it’s open five days a week, being closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
What are some other things to do near Mount Rushmore?
Mount Rushmore is nowhere near the only exciting thing to see in its area. You’ll have a blast around the national monument, too, as there’s enough to do that it’s worth taking extra days either before or after your visit to Rushmore to do them. Some of our favorite nearby attractions include the Crazy Horse memorial and Custer State Park, both of which are historically significant and fun to learn about. You’ll also find some natural beauty all around you, and you should consider a visit to Black Elk Peak and Horse Thief Lake.
