It’s early fall, and temperatures are currently glorious, but those of us from South Dakota know that things can change in a blink of an eye, and before we know it, it will be too cold and miserable to do anything outside. The solution? Instead of staying cooped up in the house all day, visit South Dakota’s impressive Redlin Art Center:
Located in Watertown, the Redlin Art Center believes that "art should be experienced by all," which they do via permanent exhibits and special events.
Created by the late Watertown resident Terry Redlin (pictured), the Redlin Art Center is home to a gallery complete with 160+ oil paintings depicting small-town America, plus a room dedicated to his early art, a sketch room, and a photo gallery.
If it isn't too chilly out, you will want to check out the Redlin's outdoor offerings as well, which include a stunning 30-acre Conservation Park and Amphitheater.
