Has it not been your day, week, month, or year (like most everyone in the country)? If not, you may be ready to go out for a drink, the best of which – in our opinion – comes in the form of local craft beer. Are you thirsty? If so, you will want to visit Crow Peak Brewing Company, which is not only one of the tastiest, but also one of the prettiest places to enjoy a beer in South Dakota:
Nestled away in beautiful Spearfish, Crow Peak Brewing Company is a locally-owned brewery that started small and continued to scale into the SoDak favorite it is today.
Started in the spring of 2007, Crow Peak began as a tiny five-barrel operation before expanding and re-opening in their current location in 2009, where they operate a larger 30-barrel brewhouse.
When you visit today, you will be treated to all of your year-round favorites, including the 11th Hour IPA (American India pale ale) and Canyon Creme (golden ale), as well as small-batch seasonal beers, a la lagers, the Tony Milos Breakfast Beer, and a vanilla espresso Scotch ale.
While the tasty and innovative hops are reason enough to visit Crow Peak, it's the rustic ambiance and surrounding Black Hills landscape that keeps us coming back for seconds!
Crow Peak Brewing Company is open Monday through Thursday from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
