Summertime is treat time, and there’s no better place to find scrumptious, hand-made chocolates and creamy ice cream than Turtle Town in Keystone and Hill City.
Turtle Town set up shop more than 30 years ago, and it's still one of South Dakota's favorite spots for ice cream and homemade candy. The original store is located at 117 Winter St., Keystone, SD 57751.
Turtle Town is famous for its hand-made fudge, and it's made fresh right here in the shop. It comes in 20 different flavors, from chocolate to grasshopper to s'mores.
The iconic turtle candy is how this little shop got its name, and these adorable confections made of caramel, milk chocolate and cashews are divine. They're also as big as your hand!
