It’s the BEST time of the year for festivals, as the trees are changing colors, temperatures ate cooling off, and the aroma of apple and pumpkin spice is EVERYWHERE! If you, too, love celebrating this wonderful season, we invite you to attend this one fall festival right here in South Dakota:
Welcome to the festive Festifall And Candlelight Walk!
Taking place Saturday, October 1st, 2022, at Newton Hills State Park, the Festifall and Candlelight Walk is an afternoon and evening event that promises something fun for the entire family.
Kicking off at 1 p.m., the Festifall festivities begin with numerous activities and demonstrations, including candle making, pumpkin decorating, leaf printing, tin punching, and other fun make-and-take crafts.
During the day, take some time to check out the rest of Newton Hills, as the 1,063-acre state park is home to ample trails, watersports, wildlife, camping, and more.
As the name suggests, the Candlelight Walk is a nighttime stroll that consists of the flickering lights of candles, all of which are inside creatively carved pumpkins.
