South Dakota is home to some truly unique places. The Crazy Horse Memorial is one such place, and there’s a cozy restaurant there that’s perfect for a snack or meal. The food is fabulous, and the view is one-of-a-kind.
If it's ever completed, the Crazy Horse Memorial will be the largest sculpture in the world. Though it's nowhere near completion, the memorial is still stunning.
If you want a truly unique meal, order the Tatanka Stew. It's full of tender chunks of Black Hills bison, carrots, peas, onions and potatoes, and served with Indian fry bread.
The Native American Taco is another regional favorite. It starts with a fluffy piece of fry bread, then it's topped with taco meat, refried beans, lettuce, onions, tomatoes and cheese.
Gaze out at the Crazy Horse Memorial while you eat. The floor-to-ceiling windows give you a panoramic view of the memorial and the natural beauty surrounding it.
