At the Latchstring Restaurant which is part of the Spearfish Canyon Lodge, no matter the time of year you'll be greeted with an absolutely spectacular experience.

First, there's the interior which is cozy and full of canyon vibes. We love the exposed wooden beams and the cozy feel.

But the surroundings are what we can't get enough of. Nestled within the forest, tucked into an incredibly scenic setting there's no other place to find both beauty and delicious food.

The restaurant has been feeding people in the area for more than 100 years and you'll find it within walking distance of the lodge. But, you don't need to be a guest to enjoy a meal. And you'll *definitely* want to enjoy a meal here.

The meals here are all homemade, and there's a good chance this will be the best meal you've had in a long, long time.

The restaurant is located right at the canyon, which means it's the perfect place to enjoy breakfast before exploring or lunch and dinner after having your fill of adventures nearby.

And while the menu is truly one of our favorites, it could be the views we love the most.

The deck overlooks the best of the area, including forest, water, and sky.
