South Dakota is home to some unique attractions, but this one takes the cake! This small town near Black Hills might be charming, but beneath the surface is a collection unlike any other. This town is home to a massive teddy bear collection, full of treasures just like you had in your childhood. Every bear holds a story that must be heard, and if nothing else, this gigantic bear collection is an awesome photo opportunity! You simply must see this jaw dropping collection with your own eyes.
You may have heard of this city in Black Hills, but we'll bet you didn't know the crazy collection it holds.
That's right, the largest in the world! Teddy Bear Town has been featured in the Guinness Book of World Records and has been seen on Ripley's Believe It Or Not.
Fun fact: Hill City has a population just over 900. Teddy Bear Town has grown exponentially and is now home to over 10,500 teddy bears from every state in the US and over 24 foreign countries. This collection sure brings this small town to life.
This collection was made possible by the donations of many. Some donate their own teddy bear, or in memory of a loved one. No matter what, no two bears are alike. You can donate your own bear, or adopt one. Ask the gift shop for more information.
