Are you looking for a Christmas activity that is as festive and fun as it is safe and socially-distanced? When it comes to staying safe and confined from Covid-19, there is no better place to be – aside from your home – than inside your car, which is why we highly recommend driving the delightful Tour de Lights in South Dakota:
Beginning Friday, November 27th, 2020, the Tour de Lights is a Black Hills favorite that is comprised of dozens of homes decorated for the holiday season!
Located in Rapid City, the Tour de Lights takes place every evening beginning at sundown, as the talented participant's home light up the night sky and spread a little to cheer to all who drive by.
Sponsored by Team Malott at Century21-ClearView, the idea for Tour de Lights came about when realtors and Rapid City residents Seth and Brittany Malott drove around and couldn't find many light displays, resulting in a simple map with all the best homes.
Before long, the idea caught on, and Tour de Lights was born!
Residents were invited to submit their homes on the Tour de Lights website through Black Friday. Those homes will be added to a map that can be accessed for free.
