Please note: Due to a steep ascent and loose rocks, the hike to the Caves can be tricky at times, so practice caution when you go.

The Spearfish Community Caves can be accessed via Spearfish Canyon Scenic Byway (Hwy 14A), approximately 2.7 miles south of Colorado Blvd. Once you reach Mile Marker 13, take the curve, and you will find the parking lot and trail for the Caves.
