No matter which South Dakota campground you choose, you are almost guaranteed an awe-inspiring view and landscape that you would not find in any other state. Isn’t it grand? One of these campgrounds is the incredible Sage Creek Campground, which features jaw-dropping views that you simply cannot beat:
Located near Wall, the Sage Creek Campground is arguably the most stunning in all of South Dakota... and for a good reason.
Billed by the National Park Service for having "stunning sunsets, incredible night skies, and breathtaking sunrises from the comfort of your tent," the Sage Creek Campground is nestled away at Badlands National Park, making for a true one-of-a-kind camping experience.
Featuring 22 sites located alongside the Sage Creek Rim Road, the Sage Creek Campground is perfect for tent, pop-up camper, and small RV camping and offers on-site pit toilets, covered picnic tables, and potable water via the nearby Ben Reifel Visitor Center.
The Sage Creek Campground is open year-round, but please note that the unpaved road leading to the campsite may temporarily close after winter storms and spring rains.
