In South Carolina, fried chicken is a staple. We love it. Can’t get enough of it. Maybe that’s part of the reason why the very last remaining Yogi Bear’s Honey Fried Chicken outlet in the country is right here in South Carolina, where it has been for way more than 50 years.
In the late 1960s, Yogi Bear's Honey Fried Chicken opened with locations across America.
In 1968, it was purchased by Hardee's - and then things went south, quickly. But not before the location in Hartsville, South Carolina, opened. And now that all of the other locations in the country have closed, this one location at 514 S 5th Street in Hartsville remains. And it's showing no signs of slowing down.
This Yogi Bear location has moved with the groove over the decades since opening. It even has online ordering (just click the menu button) so you don't have to wait.

Roll in, get your box of delicious golden brown HONEY FRIED chicken and start stuffing your face.
Many of the three-dimensional Yogi Bear props, including larger-than-life statues of Yogi were bought up by a new (at the time) campground chain... Yogi Bear's Jellystone Campgrounds. (Now you know... )
Coming in for a meal? Don't forget dessert! Or that Yogi Bear's also has delicious fried seafood (catfish, shrimp, and flounder).
It’s open seven days a week from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. If you love chicken (who doesn’t??) and you haven’t tried this epic fried chicken spot, then what are you waiting for? Yogi Bear’s Honey Fried Chicken is probably open right now! And remember, it’s the last one still open in the whole country.
