The Chatooga Studio Loft was so named after the wild and scenic Chatooga River in Oconee County. Decor in this loft includes old scenes from the original Nicholson Family homeplace on the Chattooga River from the early 1900s.

Lofts Over Main is the result of a renovation project by a couple, Jared and Meghan Ketterman, who both grew up in Oconee County and came back home wanting to make a positive impact on the community. Seeing a need for places for visitors to stay in this town, their vision was to create an opportunity for the outdoorsman who sought adventure on their town’s rivers, hiking trails, biking trails, and lakes.
