South Carolina has been home for AnneMarie since 2001. Her favorite part of the state is Lake Jocassee. An App State alumna, it's always the mountains; the lake bonus makes it heavenly. When not writing about the state, she may be spending time with family, relaxing by the pool, or out somewhere enjoying nature.
The South Carolina State Park system includes 47 beautiful state parks, and there’s a new way to enjoy two of them, Table Rock State Park in the upstate and Edisto Beach State Park in the lowcountry. Both offer plenty of scenery and recreational activities, including hiking, fishing, birding, and more. And now you can also enjoy glamping in South Carolina at each of these wonderful parks.
Bathroom facilities are located near these sites. Check the South Carolina State Parks pages for each park for additional details and to reserve a site. Glamping in South Carolina is a much easier camping adventure to plan when you’re not packing a tent and sleeping bags!
Do you usually prefer the mountains over the beach or vice versa? Have you ever stayed overnight at any of our state parks?
