Pick a day or a weekend and enjoy the Ace Basin. You'll love the view from up here! You can see four states at once. At 3,560 feet, it's the highest point in the whole state. You'll also love that you can drive most of the way there and then walk a short distance from the parking lot to the overlook. Directions here.
It's also for "Take a Bow" once you've hiked up to this vantage point. The climb up to the top of Table Rock is 3.6 miles and steadily uphill, ascending 2200 feet. But no pain, no gain. It's totally worth it.

We love our zoos, aquariums and animal farms. Aiken, Charleston, Columbia, Florence, Greenville, Hilton Head, Myrtle Beach, Orangeburg, Rock Hill, Spartanburg and Walterboro all have at least one of them (zoo, aquarium or animal farm.)
