South Carolinians are practically weaned on bar-b-que. Some may even believe we come out of our mother’s womb craving the succulent, mouthwatering goodness of tangy pulled pork. Bar-B-Que is just that much a part of our existence. To that end, even though we likely have a loyalty to one pit master or another, we will still try out other BBQ joints when we’re traveling.

That being said, there is a fantastic BBQ destination eatery in the Palmetto State that's a little off the beaten path, but oh-so worth the journey!

And if you haven't tired Shuler's BBQ in Latta, SC, then you are in for a real treat. We could go on and on about the food (it IS awesome) but this destination eatery has much to love — in addition to the food!
For starters, you can order a plate, or feast on their all-you-can-eat BBQ buffet. If you like, you can sit for hours on end, just eating yourself into a blissful BBQ coma. (Go ahead, we won't judge.)

The restaurant is bright and cheery with ample room to spread out and enjoy that heaping plate (after plate) of delicious food from this famous buffet.
In cooler months, pop outside to eat on the patio overlooking a scenic little lake. And once you've finished devouring as much as humanly possible... there's still more to do before you leave.
