1. Taco Boy - 217 Huger St, Charleston, SC
If you want to know where the locals go, this is it. This location of Taco Boy is a little off the beaten path in downtown Charleston and in a quirky neighborhood. But the food is superb and inventive. The atmosphere is electric and laid back at the same time. We're not sure how that's possible, but it is. Trust us.

2. Fiesta Del Burro Loco - 960 Jason Blvd, Myrtle Beach, SC
Wow. Burro Loco's
Facebook page just might give you the impression that this is THE MOST FUN restaurant in all of Myrtle Beach. But don't let the photos mislead you into thinking FUN is all they have to offer. Online reviews for Fiesta Del Burro Loco absolutely rave about the food, the service and the margaritas!
3. Chuy's - 1034B Woodruff Rd, Greenville, SC
Chuy's Facebook page has a fun graphic that says, "If you've seen one Chuy's - you've seen one Chuy's." We think this is a cute way to say each Chuy's location is as unique as the next. Say what you will, but Rosalia's is worth the drive into Orangeburg. Just 6 days ago, a Trip Advisor user with 95 reviews to his credit said Rosalia's "was some of the best Mexican anywhere, and the service matched!"

11. Taqueria Rocio - 7715 E Main St, Ridgeland, SC
Ridgeland, SC has the distinction of being right off Interstate 95 in South Carolina. Ridgeland has found a way to capitalize on this great opportunity by offering top-notch restaurants and amenities to travelers. Trip Advisor users love Taqueria Rocio.
